Is Singapore such a "tough" country to live in? Some of my own pointers and thoughts...
:: High standards of living, high expenses, high petrol prices
:: Singaporeans ARE migrating away from home
:: "restricted" feel living in singapore (those who have stayed long enough overseas will understand)
:: Ultra importance placed on academic qualifications
:: will add more if i think of any

serious...everytime, I see you, you are whinning abt singapore. on a nice day where i could actually have a nice chat with u, u will go singapore bashing. on the occasional rare night that i actually got u all to myself and max, u go singapore bashing.
Look on the bright side, Singapore is actually a good place to live in. Every country has their own woes, so rather than live as a 2nd class citizen else where, why not live as a first class citizen here.
I mean..sure we have our woes but overall, Singapore is a such a safe and clean country to live in. Not forgetting that our electronics gadgets is one of the cheapest in the region.
true, most ppl feel restricted in this country, but really, i rather have that than to have free and irresponsible freedom to the sense of being ridiculous and having same sex marriages.
high cost of petrol price, take the public transport, go green. I can safely says tat we have one of the most efficient public transport. (but yah, still i want to own a car too but unlike u, i am not whinning)
and of you really like australia with all their moo moo cows like u said...go there!! Their handphones and handphone charges might just be "a lot cheaper and newer than singapore" (really, i still have no idea where u get this from). Your life could just be a lot more peaceful and slow pace... I KNOW you would not run back complaining that you are bored over there... oh..did i mention that you could be killed for being asian over there? and i would definitely prefer my kids to worry abt school work than to worry abt being dragged on a road by a cheap car running on the cheapest petrol. yes, tink abt it, ultra importance placed on education is really not such a bad thing. The only reason why it is bad is because it make u wat u r today instead of milking cow in a farm which u really like to do.
But still, i guess u r more than welcome to live in ur delusion that everything in singapore is expensive and bad. Go live else where!! serious!! I know u will be happy living out of singapore and have your son marrying your neighbour's son!!
